Overview
Embark on an enriching 3-day Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site nestled in the south-western part of Uganda. Covering an expansive 321 km2, this park is renowned for housing over half of the world’s mountain gorillas.
Itinerary
Depart after an early breakfast, traversing through rural and semi-urban landscapes, observing vibrant fruit and vegetable markets, craft artisans. Stop at Uganda’s Equator monument, marking the transition to the southern hemisphere. Pause in Mbarara for lunch, before continuing the journey to Bwindi, with short breaks for refreshing bathroom stops and capturing the picturesque scenery.
Commence the day with an early start as your driver guide escorts you from the lodge to the briefing point. At the briefing, Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers will warmly welcome you, providing essential information while your guide registers you with the ranger on duty, ensuring allocation to a gorilla family.
After a brief orientation on park etiquette and interaction guidelines, embark on the gorilla trek through the captivating forest. Depending on the location of your assigned gorilla family, you may drive to the trailhead. Consider hiring a porter to assist with your day pack, especially if the gorillas are situated at a distance from the trek’s starting point or on challenging terrains. Enjoy unforgettable moments as you watch the gorilla family.
Conclude your memorable Uganda holiday by driving back to Kampala. Pause for lunch at the Equator, capturing picturesque moments in both the northern and southern hemispheres. This marks the end of your enriching 3-day Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari.

Yes we have limitations like;
if you have flue, Cough, Covid or any airborne disease as they are transferable from humans to the Gorillas
– a hat to shelter you from direct sun raise
– walking stick ( optional but always provided by the hotel)
– camera ( flash should be off)
– water proof clothing as it an impenetrable Forest
– packed meal and water
These are habituated Gorillas who are used to be viewed, but should be atleast a meter away from the gorillas and should not look direct in their eyes, but still we have all protection in place if any of such happens as we have armed guides.
