The Mabira Forest Canopy Super Skyway was designed and certified by the Uganda Engineers Registration Board and insured by the National Insurance Corporation, ensuring your safety throughout the experience.

Griffin Falls Camp was established by the Mabira Forest Integrated Community Organization (MAFICO) with the goal of promoting ecotourism and generating income to fund beneficial projects. MAFICO is a non-governmental organization formed by people living in and around Mabira Forest who are committed to preserving the environment through sustainable development.

MAFICO’s past projects include building 1000 mud oven fuel savers to reduce charcoal use, establishing a tree farm and two community woodlots, training in sustainable and efficient farming methods, and creating the Griffin Falls Camp to help fund future projects. By supporting the Mabira Forest Canopy Super Skyway and Griffin Falls Camp, you are contributing to the conservation efforts of MAFICO and promoting eco-tourism in Uganda.
